Mahyar Naeimi
I grew up in a family with deep roots in various forms of fine arts such as painting, miniature and illustration, sculpture, fashion, and media arts, therefore I had the chance to develop my creativity and imagination as a valuable authority from which I benefit to actualize my artistic ideas.
Throughout the years of my career, I have had the opportunity to gain problem-solving, responsibility and communication skills by confronting complications, unexpected occurrences and challenges. Successfully, I had been maintaining the affinity and motivation of the team as a leader that led to better outcomes in projects. Immigration has presented another exceptional chance to me to be able to examine and improve my compatibility with new people, new culture, and new workplace environments.
Since 2006, I have started learning design software, especially Corel Draw and Photoshop. My constant interest in animation and video games, especially my enthusiasm for character design and modeling, led me to start learning ZBrush, 3dsMax, and Maya with their possibility to reach excellent final works such as XGen, Arnold, VRay. At the same time, I became self-taught and followed the workflow of leading artists in the industry, thus I became acquainted with the professional production pipeline and the accurate stages of UV, texturing to deliver excellent material and shading for render of my works with UVLayout, Substance Painter and Designer and Mari. Recently, I took a step forward and started learning Marvelous Designer to get the best out of my concepts.
Dr.Jafar Najibi played a major role in my life, as a wonderful sculpturing mentor. Making sculptures with different materials as well as learning the basics of converting a design into a 3D model are the main achievements that I will always treasure.
As a kid, I was always surrounded by art atmosphere, thanks to my parents who were both engaged in art. Hence, my enthusiasm was developed greatly for sketching and drawing. My parents encouraged me and allowed me to benefit from excellent art mentors and learn the basics of design and drawing. Therefore, I achieved considerable progress over the years as I grew up. My passion for character design made me get experience in a new field and learn Digital Painting from Reza Abbasimoghaddam in Tehran, Iran. Besides, I started developing my innovation by creating character concepts primarily with two main techniques such as random silhouette creation and collage from Kamal Tabatabaie. Additionally, Hoda Karimi and Morteza Yazdani were the great instructors who taught me how to study human and animal anatomy precisely. I believe that the combination of my background in art is a great asset that helps me to achieve my purposes.
